i haven't posted, like, at all. in, like, forever

the only reason for me not posting in a long time is because i haven't seen the sheep do any thing different... all they do is walk around and eat and eat and eat and eat and eat and sleep and eat and eat and lay down while eating and eat and walk and eat and walk and eat and sleep and walk and sleep and eat and eat and eat and eat! (if you read all that you rock!) life as a sheep farmer is very boring during summer. but soon we will have to lock them in the back of the property soon (that is where they stay for the winter). oh! and i forgot to say happy 1 year of having this blog! it was actually some time during august i think it was the 27th but i could be wrong... and yeah so that's all folks!

putting you up to date

The bear has stopped visiting but at night and in the early morning we can hear coyotes howling near our fence.

Our dog (Dude) is now able to roam out side without trying to Chase the sheep. We are also not putting the sheep in the back area at night (partly because we keep forgetting!! :O).

Wednesday, 16 May 2012

the past 2 nights we have been visited by a black bear at the back of our sheep pen. we are worried that if the bear gets hungry that it doesn't go for the sheep.

Yves is the wither of our small flock of sheep and being a wither means that you would be a male used for keeping the ram company but you cant reproduce.
